Stronger Strides and Faster Finishes for Jack

Jack has been an athlete at Inclusive Fitness for several years, building strength and confidence through consistent coaching and testing it on race day.

Jack is a 16-year-old autistic athlete who thrives on movement. Staying active has always been part of his life, from basketball and baseball to hockey and cross-country running. When his mom first contacted Inclusive Fitness, she sought a place where Jack could build physical strength, feel supported, and get the individualized coaching he needed to grow.

Programs That Build Strength

At Inclusive Fitness, Jack started with one-on-one coaching sessions designed to meet him exactly where he was. Breaking workouts into simple, achievable steps made the process both motivating and manageable. Over time, Jack added small group training into the mix, giving him the chance to practice social skills, build stamina, and stay excited about movement.

His progress showed up everywhere — in stronger lifts, a faster pace, and a growing sense of confidence that carried onto the racecourse.

Since joining Inclusive Fitness, Jack has completed several 5k races, each one faster and stronger than the last. His speed, stamina, and self-belief have grown with every race, showing how small wins, session after session, add up to big results.

Coaching That Builds Confidence

As his mom Erin shared, “He absolutely loves everything he does here, and I love the fact that he gets the individual attention he needs. He’s been able to fine-tune his abilities, and as a parent, that means everything.”

She added, “Trying something new can be overwhelming for kids on the spectrum. But having someone with the skills and patience to walk Jack through every step has been invaluable.”
