In 2022, Toby was looking for a place to get stronger safely.
His recent osteoporosis diagnosis had left him wondering whether strength training was even an option. He wasn’t sure what to expect when he signed up for his first session at Inclusive Fitness, but he knew he wanted to try.
Early on, Toby, understandably, approached each workout with caution. His coach carefully adapted the exercises, focusing on steady form, safe progression, and building trust.
“My muscles have become stronger, and most of all, I have been able to go up in weight in my program without hurting myself,” Toby shared. “My parents and I have noticed an increase in my strength in my everyday activities.”
The small changes showed up outside the gym, too.
Reaching for a heavy bag, carrying groceries, and climbing stairs — tasks that once felt uncertain now came more easily.
As his strength grew, so did his community.
Toby began training in a small group, and he found friendships and encouragement that built up around him. Group sessions gave him space to stay flexible and supported while he shared the experience with others who understood what progress really looks like.
“It’s been a great way to meet new people and stay flexible with our workouts so everyone’s needs are met,” he said.
Today, Toby is stronger, more confident, and excited for what’s ahead.
He continues to set goals, build endurance, and deepen his connection with the Inclusive Fitness community.
“I highly recommend Inclusive Fitness to anyone in the neurodivergent community who’s looking to gain strength and have fun while doing so,” he shared.
And every day, he’s proving that steady work, real support, and belief in your own strength can open more doors than you ever expected.
