We’re excited to share another milestone in the Inclusive Fitness® journey! Our West Roxbury center has moved to our new dedicated adaptive fitness center in Dedham, where we’ll welcome current members and new athletes beginning the week of July 6.
The move comes just weeks after celebrating the first anniversary of our Inclusive Fitness Burlington center—a reminder of how many more athletes and families now have access to expert coaching, individualized programs, and adaptive, functional fitness. Together, our Dedham and Burlington centers allow us to continue expanding access for neurodivergent athletes and their families throughout Greater Boston and MetroWest.
Five and a half years ago, we opened the doors to our first Inclusive Fitness center with a simple goal: to create the kind of fitness program we wished existed for our own family, and for so many others like ours. We wanted to create a place where athletes were understood, coached with expertise, and challenged in ways that honored who they are and what they are capable of. A place where families could walk in and feel, often for the first time, that their athlete was understood.
That belief still guides everything we do.
Since October 2020, our community has grown in ways we are proud to celebrate:
- 550+ athletes trained
- 30,000+ training sessions delivered
- 60+ scholarship athletes supported
- Two dedicated Inclusive Fitness centers
Together, these milestones represent years of consistency, trust, and hard work from our athletes, families, coaches, and community partners.
Strong for a Purpose
The numbers tell us how far we’ve come, but they only tell part of the story. Our athletes and families tell us why it matters.
Every athlete who walks through our doors has their own starting point. Some arrive unsure of what to expect. Some need time to feel comfortable in the gym. Some have spent years looking for a fitness program that truly fits: one with expert coaching, individualized programming, high expectations, and a community that believes in their potential.

That is why Inclusive Fitness exists.
We see athletes walk in on their first day with hesitation, then months later greet their coaches by name, encourage teammates, and ask, “Is today gym day?”
We see athletes build strength, coordination, confidence, and independence one session at a time. They master new exercises. They celebrate personal bests. They learn what their bodies can do. They discover that fitness can be part of their life, not something that exists outside their reach. Families see the difference, too. They tell us their athlete has more energy, more confidence, and more independence. They see routines taking shape. They see strength built in the gym begin to show up at home, at work, at school, and in everyday life.
Those are the moments that define Inclusive Fitness. We presume competence. We meet every athlete where they are. We celebrate every victory, and we keep challenging each athlete to grow. Every workout is individualized. Every goal matters. Every athlete belongs.
As our coaching team, programs, and community partnerships continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: helping every athlete become stronger, healthier, more confident, and more independent for life.
Welcome to Dedham
Our new Dedham center builds on everything our community has created over the past five and a half years.
The coaches our athletes know and trust are coming with us. The individualized programs are coming with us. The relationships, routines, and athlete stories we have built together are coming with us, too. We are bringing an active, growing community into a new space designed to help us continue this work.
Together, our Dedham and Burlington adaptive fitness centers allow us to serve even more athletes and families while staying rooted in the same purpose that inspired us to launch Inclusive Fitness.
We’re excited to welcome athletes beginning the week of July 6 and look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new families, and continuing to build strength, confidence, and community together.
